That looks nice with the sun. The Dutch would sweep away the snow and organize a skating competition here ha,ha. All snow has melted away this weekend and the ice is weak now.
ReplyDeleteThat looks soooooo cold! - and kind of fun, too!
ReplyDeleteThe patterns made by the skis have a beauty all their own.
ReplyDeleteThey should sweep a patch and make it easier to skate. Did you lace up to get this shot?
ReplyDeleteWOW!! I used to love to skate when I was a kid living in Alaska...not much else to do :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful, Andy!
ReplyDeleteIf Canada would be closer to the Netherlands this ice would be crowded with Dutch people.
ReplyDeleteI like the patterns on the snow. Good shot! Looks very cold, but is that a pale-ish blue sky amidst those clouds?
ReplyDeleteNice pattern in the snow with the slates. I'm afraid I'm really spoiled as I skate in an arena all the time. I would love to cross country ski through that snow.
ReplyDeleteA really beautiful scene!
ReplyDeleteWee! I wouldn't mind a whirl though not sure my aging knees and ankles would be up for it:) Lovely.
