Why so many parked cars?

*********************************

They are parked close to that great Canadian pastime... pond hockey.

They may look disorganized but these guys and gals know exactly what they are doing.

  1. Here the cars would be bicycles but otherwise.

  2. In Minnesota, in my youth, we did the same thing. Had great times. A nice memory-jerker, Andy, thanks!

  4. Love to see so many folks (especially younger ones) enjoying the outdoors. Perhaps they were out celebrating the NHL lockout being settled.

  14. When I was 7 years old and visiting relatives in Newfoundland we went up to the "pond" to skate. Many years later I went by the same pond and had no idea how we were accomplishing anything as it was about the size of a 10x10 bedroom! I also remember sliding down snowy front yards on pieces of old linoleum...seriously! Thanks for bringing up some great memories, Andy.
