Nice contrast. The snow with the rather hard building contours. Nice shot Andy.
ReplyDeleteI think we are rather alike with the winters this year. We had also lots of snow and cold, which we didn't have every year. But the amounts you have we don't know here. Now spring suddenly has started with temperatures of 10-15C degrees today.
ReplyDeleteThis is more like it. Yes, winter is long and not the most fun season, but would much prefer it to actually feel winter (our winter's been too warm too).
ReplyDeleteI like it when winter is winter. When temps go up and down like a roller coaster, I get a little edgy.
ReplyDelete...and this is the way winters used to be!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing you like it, Andy! With that much snow you'd be pretty miserable if you didn't!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're feeling good. We have a lot of Canadians in Florida right now who obviously weren't feeling too good about the snow! :)
ReplyDeleteI played on snow piles like that as a child. Wishing my kids could see just a few flakes this season. Nice photo.
ReplyDeleteExcellent, Andy. The contrast between rough and smooth, irregular and geometric are terrific, while everything is so subdued in color.
ReplyDeleteI do love snow photos and just a little touch of winter... long enough to make a snowball. Then, I want to run home where most days I can run out to the street in my bare feet to get the newspaper.
ReplyDeleteBises,
Genie
