My brother and I fished for smelts there
ReplyDeletemany years ago.
It was stomping grounds for us. My brother was an avid fisherman and he taught me all I know about fishing. Even how to get the worms at night and place them in cans tied to my legs with a rope. Then I sold the worms to fisherman from the States next day. So interesting your pictures to know construction To Frenchmans Bay.
My brother and I used to go there all the time.
ReplyDeleteWe did smelt fishing.
So this is interesting to know.
Oh my, can't get over that cost! Hope it is all worth it!
ReplyDeleteI would imagine it was pretty tricky getting that heavy equipment out on that little finger of land. We've had big trucks be unwilling to drive onto our unpaved land for fear of sinking into muck.
ReplyDeleteThat is a huge project. Lots of people will find work here.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very expensive work they are doing there. But it will be worth it I think.
ReplyDeleteBig project and some really big money.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's worth it!
