Stitched together using software this is my panorama of a dam located on Duffins Creek. The dam (which was repaired in 2002) is currently used to provide a physical barrier to separate migratory fish species such as rainbow trout and chinook salmon (downstream of the dam) from native brook trout (upstream of the dam).

ReplyDeleteThe location link is in the post footer almost beside the link for comments.
DeleteAre you going to start a new meme here with Weekend Water? that would be great.
ReplyDeleteNo, no. I don't have the commitment to run a meme.

ReplyDeleteWhat an image! Very lovely work, and also very interesting to hear of the way fish are affected.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very cool looking dam - I love the panorama!
